It's been 3 weeks since I have done any painting and maybe that's why I've been a little cranky. I've had this painting in my head all this time and was just waiting for the opportune moment to get up to my studio and start the sketch.
I also knew that I wanted to do it in a large format, 30x40", so that it would make a nice statement. And I think it does already!

Fall Tree
